Spector’s Chroma 2026
Spectator's Chroma explores the duality of the analogue photographic act as the meeting of two gazes: that of the photographer, who frames and decides, and that of the camera, which interprets and transforms.
Far from being a neutral medium, the camera introduces variations, imperfections and chromatic shifts through its optical and chemical processes. Each image thus emerges from a tension between control and uncertainty, between intention and outcome.
The works are presented without editing or subsequent intervention, faithful to the original development of the film roll. Every photograph is therefore a unique piece, where both gazes converge and materialise in an unrepeatable chromatism.
